Baltimore, MD - The Board of Estimates agenda for the May 12th meeting is now available. It can be found at https://comptroller.baltimorecity.gov/boe/meetings.

Items of note:

Pages 2-9, BBMR, Dept of Planning, Dept. of Finance--Annual Ordinance of Estimates FY 2022, Annual Property Tax Ordinance FY 2022, FY 2022-2027 Capital Budget and Capital Improvement Program, Six Year Capital Improvement Program. 

Pages 38-39, Department of Law, MBE/WBE Program Size Standard and Graduation Annual Review. This requests the Board to adopt the standards promulgated in federal regulations by the Small Business Administration.

Page 43, Dept. of Finance, Grant Agreement with Visit Baltimore. The next step for the Commerce Department grant for the hotels that the Board approved on April 7. Now Visit Baltimore gets to distribute the money. 

Page 80, DPW, Ratification of Amendment No. 5 to Agreement with Patton, Harris Rust & Associates for WC 1229, Rehabilitation of Vernon Pumping Station. 

Pages 82-83, DPW, Amendment No. 5 to Agreement with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson under Project No. 1243, Design of Cromwell Pumping Station Improvements. MBE goal has been exceeded. 

Pages 99-101, Item #5, Bureau of Procurement, Renewal of Contract B50004813 with First Potomac Environmental Corp, JB Contracting, Inc., and C&W Construction Co. for Interior Renovation, Carpentry, and Associated Trades. End-user is DGS.  This is a $2 Million contract that will grow to $5 Million if the renewal is approved. 

Pages 109-114, Items #15-22, Bureau of Procurement, Reports of COVID-19 Emergency Procurements.

To protest a proposed action of the Board or otherwise address the Board please notify the Clerk, Room 204, City Hall, 100 N. Holliday Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 in writing by Tuesday, May 11th at 12pm. Protests can be sent to james.knighton@baltimorecity.gov. The Board shall award the contract as an entirety to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, or by items to the respective lowest responsive and responsible bidders, or reject all bids.  The decision to reject all bids is final and not subject to protest.

Please note Baltimore City Hall is closed to the public during the COVID-19 health crisis. All Board of Estimates meetings will be conducted via remote video conference. Viewers can watch the meetings on Charm TV or channel 25.
