Monday, January 16th
9am: Service Event
The Comptroller will visit the 12th annual community service event honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., hosted by the Midway Community Development Corporation. The event will take place at 1100 E. North Ave. in Baltimore, Md. 21202. The 6th Branch, Inc. will conduct the community service activity. More information.
Noon: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade will be held on Monday beginning at noon. Participants will proceed south along Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and then west on Baltimore Street to disband between Fremont Avenue and Poppleton Street.
3pm: State Comptroller Swearing-In Ceremony
Comptroller Henry will attend the Swearing In Ceremony of newly elected State Comptroller Brooke Lierman. Details for the day’s events.
Wednesday, January 18th
9am: Board of Estimates Meeting
Comptroller Henry will participate in a meeting of the Board of Estimates. Residents and members of the press can attend the meeting in person at City Hall in the Board of Estimates Chambers, 100 N.
