1pm: Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee Hearing 

Comptroller Henry will testify in support of Senator Shelly Hettleman’s Senate Bill 563, which would close the rental licensing loophole created by the Court of Appeals in Velicky v. Copycat Building. The bill is a crossfile of House Bill 703, which the Comptroller testified on behalf of before the House Judiciary Committee. The Comptroller's testimony and written support are available online. Residents can find information to access today's meeting at the Judicial Proceedings Committee's webpage.
