Tuesday, May 10th
6:30pm: Compstrolling Challenge
Join Comptroller Bill Henry and members of his team at Druid Hill Park as they complete a 10k a day challenge. He will lead a short walk around some of Baltimore's parks. All are welcome. RSVP at the Comptroller’s website to receive location and route details.
Wednesday, May 11th
9am: Special Board of Estimates Meeting
The Board of Estimates will meet to formulate and execute the City's fiscal policy which includes: awarding contracts, supervising purchasing, reviewing audits, and other items. This meeting is to consider the Ordinance of Estimates. More information can be found at the Comptroller's website.
The public can attend in person at City Hall in the Board of Estimates Chambers, 100 N. Holliday St. or listen in by calling in via Webex by dialing (408)-418-9388; access code: 2343 738 2004. The meeting will be streamed live on Charm TV online and on Charm TV, channel 25.
1pm: 18th Annual Lidinsky Award Ceremony
Comptroller Henry and other city officials will gather in the War Memorial Plaza to honor this year’s Lidinsky Award recipients, given to city employees with 10 or more years experience who have shown excellence in public service. This year’s recipient is Terri A. Hill from the Department of Human Resources. Lisa Allen from BCIT and Robert Hudnall from DHCD received honorable mentions. The ceremony will be streamed live on Charm TV.
