The Executive Office of the Comptroller provides constituent services, reviews and analyzes public policies, reviews the cost-effectiveness and benefits of City spending, recommends improved fiscal policies and provides general supervision to the departments under the direction and control of the Comptroller. One of the duties of the Comptroller is to serve as Secretary to the Board of Estimates. Therefore, her office also serves as the Administrative Office of the Board of Estimates. The administrative staff of the Board of Estimates prepares the Agenda for Board of Estimates meetings from submissions from City agencies.
